about the band
We are a folk band from Ottawa, Canada.
Our music pays homage to our roots, the people in our lives, and the good things in life.
In June 2017, we released our debut album Radiance. It was recorded live off the floor by Dave Draves (Kathleen Edwards, Jim Bryson, etc.) at Little Bullhorn Studios, our musical home.
Since forming late in 2016 we have performed a number of shows in Ottawa and Wakefield, Que., and a series of shows in and around Peterborough. In 2017, we played at a variety of different venues including appearances at CityFolk, the Grey Cup Festival, and our own album launch.
Songs from our album have garnered air play on CKCU, CBC Radio, and CHUO as well as on online radio stations.
Since its release, Radiance has thousands of unique listeners on Spotify and iTunes. The title track of the album was used in two episodes of a popular CBC web comedy series too. We have shows lined up for 2018, as well as plans to record and release our follow-up album in the fall.
Our music has broad appeal, and our live performances are energetic, engaging and enthusiastic.
